This blouse is handwoven by female weavers in the far south of India. The women dye the cotton yarn themselves with natural dyes, including indigo.

Organic cotton, indigo and madder

The design of the blouse is suitable for everyday wearing comfort. Size up for an oversized fit, roll up the sleeves for a casual look, or pair with a pretty necklace for a dressy look.

The design is by the Sunbird label in New Delhi, part of a foundation that aims to support and train female weavers in the use of vegetable dyes. The weavers work exclusively with organic cotton.
