A soft cotton blouse with short sleeves in a beautiful natural color of unbleached cotton. The pattern of very fine dots in blue and red are manually printed on the fabric with a metal stamp. This is an original variation on the traditional block printing with wooden stamps.
The cotton is so-called Khadi: cotton that is spun and woven by hand. The spinning is usually done by women and the weaving by both men and women. These activities can take place at home, in one's own community. That gives people a chance at economic independence.
The cotton fabric of this blouse is hand printed in a polka dot pattern of small blue and red dots. A metal 'stamp' made especially for this purpose was used for this purpose.
