Cotton fabric. Color: clear indigo. Very suitable for a blouse, shirt, pants or dress. For a regular blouse you need about 2 to 2,5 meters (the width of the fabric is relatively narrow). Combine this fabric with indigo cotton with a cube pattern! A quirky combination for a blouse with pants or top with skirt.
The floral motif has been applied to the fabric with a paste of earth, mixed with acacia gum and a number of other ingredients. The applied paste prevents the motif from being painted. This is called Dabu, a so-called dye-resist technique, just like batik where a layer of wax stops the paint.
After dyeing the fabric, a subtle black outline is applied over the unpainted motif with a wooden block.
