This cotton dress is of great class. It is beautifully finished with a lining and long seams that accentuate the lines. The side pockets have a small deep red piping, made from fabric that remains from previous collections.
The motif in the fabric was created by coloring with the so-called Ikat technique. Cotton yarn is tied off with rubber bands in a certain pattern. The tied pieces of yarn remain uncoloured when the cotton strands are dyed. The yarn must then be woven into fabric in the same pattern. An example of great ingenuity.
Everything from Via India is pure manual work. The dimensions are unique per model. The following applies to this dress:
