The manually applied motif has been done with Shibori: a technique of folding the fabric before dyeing. The design is inspired by excavations of amphora vases. In western India, in Gujarat, the remains of a 5000-year-old city of the Harappa civilization have been excavated. This impressive metropolis is called Dholavira.
The scarf is made of organic cotton, hand spun and hand woven.Vegetable dyes were used for the hand block print.
