Large, exclusive scarf made of soft merino wool and fine silk, beautifully hand woven and dyed in soft lines with natural indigo.
This scarf is part of a series whose design is inspired by archaeological excavations of a 5000 year old city in India: Dholavira. The lines and edges of the scarves refer to the construction of walls, ramparts and flood defenses. The colors have their origin in pigments from the bricks and the earthenware artifacts. The materials used are 100% natural, environmentally friendly and sustainable. The weavers of the Women Weave collective spent 3 weeks dyeing and weaving this scarf. A scarf with a soul that contains many hours of dedication.
