Lightweight scarf made of thin cotton. The beautiful weaving motif, executed in red, is typical of the region and is specific to the shepherds' guild.
This light cotton scarf is woven in the town of Bhuj in Gujarat (Northwest India). Many hand weavers can be found in Bhuj. Old weaving techniques are still passed on to new generations here. One family of weavers in particular is committed to educating a young generation of weavers.
